Two billion live cultures. In your morning coffee.
Most probiotics die in hot water. Ours is a spore-former — it survives the pour, and we print the count we guarantee at the end of shelf life, not the day it was made.
Why this one survives
Boiling water is where most probiotic drinks quietly fail
A live culture has to still be alive when you drink it. Pour water at 92 °C over a Lactobacillus and you are drinking a dead culture with a nice label. That single fact decides what a probiotic coffee can actually be.
Our strain is Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856, a spore-forming organism. Spores are dormant and armoured — published work reports around 95% viability after brewing through a stainless filter, and no significant loss of viable count in coffee powder after 24 months at room temperature.
Roasted, extracted, dried
Indian Arabica and Robusta, grown in Karnataka — the state that produces most of India's coffee, a few hours from where we blend.
Added after drying, never heated
The spores go in at the blending stage, under low shear and below 35% humidity. No step in our process ever exposes them to heat.
Survives your kettle
Spores stay dormant through the pour and germinate later. That is the whole reason this format works at all.

You are probably already paying for a probiotic. The question is whether you remember to take it.
A daily probiotic capsule runs somewhere between ₹500 and ₹1,500 a month in India, and its hardest problem is that it sits in a cupboard. Nobody forgets their morning coffee. We are not asking you to start a habit — only to attach one to a habit you already have.
The part nobody else does
Every batch publishes its own lab result
A CFU number on a pack is worth exactly as much as your willingness to believe it. So we will not ask you to. Every pack will carry a code that resolves to that batch's own release test — the measured count, the date, the signature.
This is the shape of the record, not a real one. No batch has been produced yet. The first genuine result publishes here on our first release, and every batch after it.
Straight answers
Questions worth asking
Will hot water kill the culture?
No — and that is the entire point of choosing a spore-former. Bacillus coagulans MTCC 5856 survives brewing as a dormant spore; published work reports around 95% viability after brewing. A Lactobacillus in the same cup would not survive, which is why you rarely see one in a hot drink that makes a live claim.
How much caffeine is in a cup?
About the same as a standard cup of instant coffee — we are not adding or removing caffeine, just culture. Exact figures will be on the label once the final blend is locked and tested.
How many should I have a day?
One cup gives you the full guaranteed count. More is fine if you want more coffee, but a second cup is coffee, not a second dose you need.
Does it need refrigeration?
No. Ambient, 18 months. That is the practical advantage of a spore over a live vegetative culture — no cold chain between our plant and your kitchen.
How do I know it is actually alive?
Because you will be able to look it up. Every batch is released only on a signed five-point CFU plate count, and that result publishes against the batch code on your pack. If a batch does not meet specification, it does not ship.
Is it vegetarian?
Yes. The Black and Jar packs are coffee, culture and a small amount of prebiotic fibre. The Latte adds a non-dairy creamer and a stevia–erythritol blend.
When can I actually buy it?
First release is planned for June 2027. We are building the product properly — formulation, stability testing and licensing take the time they take. Reserving now holds your founding price and tells us which pack to make most of.
